Can anyone help me identify a painting that is displayed at The Louvre?

I am trying to find out the name and artist of a painting that I don’t have a picture of… not an easy thing to do. I think it is somewhat famous and it is displayed at The Louvre. It is a woman in a white dress floating dead in some water and she has a halo over her head. The background is almost completely black but there is a very subtle outline of a dark ominous figure. I think it is from the mid to late 19th Century. Thanks for your help!

It sounds like the painting Ophiela (sp)
You should be able to go to the Louvre website and get your answer.
