Do you think that french tips on your nails makes your nails look longer?

I just painted my nails with french tips. After looking at them for a bit, I realized that they seem to look longer. Do you think your nails look longer after you french tip them?

    No. Nails look better if they are consistent in color and have rounded tips. When photographing women popping balloons with French tips, for some reason they do not show up in the photograph as well as a consistent color.
