How common are wild cats in Northern France?

Going to france in a few weeks and just curious how common they are. Just out of total curiousity.

    Well its hard to give exact numbers, they are pretty widespread at the moment, and are listed as least concern. Here is the range map from the IUCN red list site, its really accurate:

    If you mean feral cats, as in pets that have escaped and bred, they are really common.
