If you really want to take the train, then I would take RER C to Invalides. Change to Metro ligne 13 direction Les Courtilles or St. Denis Universite. Go one stop to Champs Elysees Clemenceau. Change to Metro ligne 1 direction Chateau de Vincennes. Get off at Palais Royal Musee du Louvre (the 3rd stop) or at Louvre Rivoli (the 4th stop). Enjoy!
