How long does it take to get from the Louvre Museum in Paris back to Gare du Nord Station?
I know I have to use the Metro and go 2 stops on Line 1, then 6 or 7 stops on Line 4, but has anybody ever timed it? I would like to spend as long as possible at the Louvre and not miss my train back to London. Please give me an estimation on the high side, I don’t want to take any chances.
hi, no need to take 2 lines, ur safest bet is to take metro line 7 at palais royal musee louvre (probably 300 yards more to walk) that way u will only have to do 6 stops and then walk to gare du nord in the tunel, since more or less each metro stops is a t 3 to 5 mins away from each other its 30 mins max from the time u hop on the metro, best of luck and by no means take the bus since the routes are designed to cover more stops and are less direct than metro lines besides u can get stuck in traffic and say bye bye to ur train.

Figure on at least 30 minutes on the metro, slightly less if you take a bus.
Its not that long a distance so the safest thing to do would be to take a taxi. The fare would be less than 10 euros.
