How long would it take to walk from the Louvre to Sorbonne University?
I have this project on paris where you have to come up with an ideal budget on a trip to paris and try to get sponssered or something and I want to save money by walking but, I want it to be reasonable
It should take about 25 minutes walking, which is absolutely worth it in Paris. I studied abroad for a few months and preferred walking to public transit whenever possible. Beware a walk from the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower though, that is a long long walk. Anyways to get to the Sorbonne you:
Starting at the Louvre (Courtyard next to I.M. Pei’s Pyramid)
Head southwest on Place du Carrousel
Turn left to stay on Place du Carrousel
Turn left at Quai François Mitterrand
Turn right at Pont des Arts
Turn left at Quai de Conti
Continue onto Quai des Grands Augustins
Turn right at Place Saint-Michel
Continue onto Boulevard Saint-Michel
Turn left at Rue des Ecoles
Turn right at Rue de la Sorbonne (The Sorbonne will be on the Left)
Enjoy your trip!
