How much does it cost to stay in Paris France for a week in the summer?

How much would it cost for me, an american in new york, to fly over to paris this summer to visit a college for about a week? Including plane costs round trip, hotel stays, metrø, a little bit of food money.

Roundtrip flight (I checked a midweek flight in June, if you play around with dates you might find a cheaper one): $560

Hostels are about €25/$32 per night for a shared room (dorm), decent hotels start around €70/$89 for a single room. I usually stay at Hotel de la Porte Dorée, which is a nice 2-star hotel about 15 minutes east of the city centre by metro.

A book of 10 metro tickets costs about €11/$14. In a week, you might use one or two of these books, it depends where you stay/how much you’re willing to walk/how well you plan.

If you eat street food and in cheap restaurants, you need about €30/$38 per day. If you buy some meals in a grocery store the cost is a bit less, if you eat in nicer restaurants it can be a lot more.

So about $1100 for hostel stays, or $1500 for budget hotels, plus spending money.

Efcollegebreak.com has trips to paris that include round trip airfare, hotels, transportation and tours which are optional. You could visit the school on your own and they take care of about everything. plus i heard if you use the discount code Vincig7397 you can save money on the trip
