How should I ship a French bulldog during the summer?

I need to ship my french bulldog across the country this summer, but a lot of the airlines will not fly stub-nosed breeds because of the heat. Also I’m looking for an inexpensive option. Any suggestions?

The airlines are correct, its just too hot. I have a friend that runs a puppy delivery and travels all over the country. He is just as cheap, or cheaper than the airlines and gives them personal attention. His site is….. http://www.puppyexpressdelivery.com

I’ve personally dealt with this man, and I vouch for him. He even gives them an airconditioner and a flat screen tv to listen to. Lol.

Drive the dog in a car yourself so you can ensure it’s safety on the trip.

drive the dog there yourself? Or see if anyone is planning to drive cross-country and transport the dog for you.

Your other option may be to buy yourself an airline ticket and take the dog aboard as your carry on.. check with the airline before purchasing the ticket to assure that you can do this.

There are ground transports for pets, but they generally cost 2-3 times what the airline costs.

Your other option is to wait until fall to ship the dog.

Airlines won’t sheep any breed of dog in the summer.

You aren’t allowed to ship them for a reason. He’ll likely die.
