How to become an actress in America when you live in France?
I know this is kind of unusual but I’ve dreamed of becoming an actress since i’m 7. I’m now 17 and i have two nationalities. I’m french and english. At this moment in time, i’m living in France. But the problem is it’s difficult to audition in America when you live in a different country especially when it’s for DisneyChannel, so I would love to have any sort of advice from all of you!!! That would be so kind of you!!

The only way to become an actress in the US is to be in the US. The only execeptions are for actors who have a high amount of star power in their native country but a tv show or movie filmed on location is going to look for actors IN that location (or in the case of big names, will fly them to that location).
I don’t know if the Disney Channel has open calls (in fact, I’m pretty sure they don’t, but lets just pretend that they do). So, they have an audition out in Florida. You must a. be able to fly to Florida for the audition and b. be able to move to Florida if cast.
So, since they DON’T have open auditions, see how much more difficult it is? The best you can do would be to build up your resume in France (try to do as many English-speaking projects as you can), work on perfecting an American accent, and submit to agencies in the U.S stating your goals and that you plan to relocate to the US (why would they hire a French girl when there’s an American girl who can just as easily play the part? It’s all business). You have to make their decision to cast you as easy as possible.
1st.. Move to America
The best way is to become well known as an actress in France. If you are good, the US film industry will come looking for you.
