Is it better to be in Paris on weekend or during the week?

Hi,
I am going to fly to Russia through France. I would like to stay in Paris for 2-3 days.I need to decide if I should stay there on Mon-Wed or Friday-Mon.
Any suggestions on visiting Paris on weekend or Mon-Wed?
I am planning to stay in the center of the city. Thank you.

    It is the summer in Paris so some things are closed (stores and services). It is probably 50/50 since there is not much difference between the two right now. Choose the one that is best for your other travel plans.

    I would say stay during the week, because many shops and stores are closed on the weekends. Monday- Wednesday seems like a safe bet, because if you want to do some shopping or sightseeing, you’ll want to be able to do that!
