i was thinking about writign about weather the french revolution was an inevitable outcome, cause i dont know anything about the enlightment. but i think i will lose alot of marks if i do so, so could you guys please inform me on that question, and give me good examples and concrete details to use.

After looking around a bit more I have found a book saying that king Gustav III wanted to show how he had the people’s best in mind, like other "enlightened" kings around the world, by following the ideas of the enlightenment, but he forbid any writing about the french revolution. Does that make him a "main representative"?
