I am an artist from Upstate New York, and I have a collection of oil and watercolor paintings I am currently displaying in art galleries. I have searched all over the internet and even called a few departments at The Louvre Museum in Paris, France, to find out how to submit artwork to be displayed inside the museum, but can’t find an answer. You may view my artwork at: www.wishfutlravelergallery.com. Thank you.

In 2001, my husband and I visited the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. Of course, we visited the famous Mona Lisa by De Vinci. In front of the painting was a small roped off area so visitors would not stand too close to the painting. Within the small roped off area was trash….like beverage cups, food wrappings and mostly museum pamphlets. It was really weird because the gallery where the painting was displayed was immaculate. Why there? Why did the guards standing so nearby allow it? Does anyone know?
