It is Jesus after he has been crucified and Mary is holding him. He is surrounded by a crowd and Calvary (Golgotha) is behind the crowd to the right with the three crosses. Anyone know the name and/or artist? That would be great! Thanks!

Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the painting or the painter, I can only remember what the painting looks like.

It is of a young woman floating in the water with her hands bound. I think her hair was blonde but I am really not sure.

1. that the paint is probably acrylic since that is what is recommended for painting plaster of paris
2. it may be difficult to remove because plaster of paris is very porous.

Of course, we visited the famous Mona Lisa by De Vinci. In front of the painting was a small roped off area so visitors would not stand too close to the painting. Within the small roped off area was trash….like beverage cups, food wrappings and mostly museum pamphlets. It was really weird because the gallery where the painting was displayed was immaculate. Why there? Why did the guards standing so nearby allow it? Does anyone know?
