and when can i start sending him letters?
hes leaving in 3weeks and im scared as hell.
im gonna miss him soo much.

can he call me at all?

does he have to bring his cell phone to call me to give me his adress or does he use a phone up there?
he can really only bring his important papers and the clothes on his back, anything he brings the corps dose not want him to have such as things that make him smell good and stuff will be trashed, but write to him of course (make sure ya get the address wright) you could send him a picture if ya want as long as it fits in the envelope. hope this information helped.

He really cant take anything with him, and even if he did he would not be able to use anything. He wont be able to call you on a regular basis only when he first gets there to give you his address to send mail. Even when he calls you to give you his address it will only be a 30 sec. call so be ready to write down his address fast and listen carefully because that will be his only call for a very long while. After basic he will get a little more le-way and be able to call you every now and then.
He can bring a wallet with his ID, Social Security Card, a wallet sized picture or two, and a SMALL slip of paper with a few important addresses on it. He doesn’t need anything else and to be honest he won’t want it anyway.
You can start sending him letters when you get your first one, or when his momma gets her first one and tells you his address. His first letter won’t be in the mail for about 10-14 days after he gets onto the island.
Before he leaves kiss him and tell him he’s going to love the sand and the fleas that he will bathe in the box with, then smile at him and let the recruiter drive off into the great abyss…
why are you scared?? he should be the one thats nervous its a new life changing event for him. his life will be forever different in a good way as a person and bad ways from being stripped away from what he knows.
