What was the fashion in Paris during the world war ii? What did women wear?

I red that women in paris wore uniforms, and short skirts due to ration, is it true?

If there are images, it would be wonderful.
I just need to know what they wore,
it doesnt matter if they werent worried about fashion,

    During occupation? On June 14th 1940 Paris fell to the German’s. Not until 1946 did they worry about fashion again.

    So to answer your question they wore what ever they could find.

    Fashion was not a concern during WWII as the French were more concerned with the Germans occupying there country
