Which airline is the best for flying to france?

I am planning a trip to Marseille France in the near future, and I want to know the best airlines for traveling over seas. I live in baltimore and would be flying out of BWI. It would be nice to have a less expensive flight, but I don’t want to fly about 7 hours in a smelly plane :( If anyone has any personal experiences and would like to help me out I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

    Virgin Atlantic is the best option but they are expensive.
