Who was an important dictator of France in World War One that has a lot of information I can find online?
I need to write an essay on an important figure of France in World War One.
My online skills aren’t to good so I can’t find anyone.

Not sure what you mean by "Dictator of France", but if you are looking for someone to write about that has a lot of resource material you can try Ferdinand Foch (pronounced "Fosh"), 2 October 1851 – 20 March 1929. Foch was a French soldier, military theorist, and writer credited with possessing "the most original and subtle mind in the French army" in the early 20th century.
France was supposedly a democracy, and did not have a dictator. The military, however, had an enormous influence in France. The two most important figures in France during WW1 were Marshal Ferdinand Foch and Prime Minister Georges Clemenceau.
There was no "dictator" of France during World War One. France at the time was a democratic republic just like it is today.
If you want a very interesting important figure of France in both World War One & Two, I recommend Philippe Petain. He was Brigadier-General in the french army (in french, the title is Maréchal). In WW1, he was hailed as a French Hero & called the "saviour of Verdun"….. However he was called a "traitor to France" during WW2 because, when France surrendered to Nazi Germany, Petain became the leader of the German created "puppet regime" in Vichi France. (Some believe he was beginning to go senile from old age at the time) After the war, he was put on trial for treason, found guilty & sentenced to death. But the sentence was commuted to life imprisonment instead by the French president Charles de Gaulle on account of his old age & "WW1" contributions to France. Petain died in prison; he was in fact completely senile when he died.
